12:30am ....... 14 hours later........ finished. Probably 3 hours for
parts runs and food.

NOT something I would want to do again.

Just drove around the block. No torque loss felt, mid range rpm seemed
flat until 4k and then pulls. Of course the computer is freaked out
with all the new air. I can tell more in a few days. Off-idle
throttle response is incredible. You just think about pushing the gas
pedal and vrooom!... instant rpms..... I didn't run it too hard...
want to let the rtv set a while before I hammer it.

No error codes so far.

I was a little worried about how well the injectors would seal. It
seems like the fuel rail needs to be just a tad lower. I can see the
tops of the o-rings on the injectors but they are not leaking. Does this sound
normal? My buddy who re-installed the fuelrail and injectors said he
could feel them slip in to place...

I have three or four orphaned vacuum hoses with bolts in them to plug
them up. I think I can eliminate some of them with the right
plumbing.

Grinding the compressor for clearance I think might have been the
biggest headache. You have to remove a ton of material. The '93
compressor looks slightly different than the later ones. The hoses
attach to a different place for one thing. I ground way down and
worried about breaching the compressor but finally got enough
clearance to mount the compressor back and get the radiator hose on.
The compressor corner is right on the radiator hose where it goes
over the waterneck. I grinded all the sharps off and beveled it as
much as I could, but it's something to keep an eye on.

.... can't think of anything else major.... too tired. Will post more
tommorow.
