Ok, I just put 10 to 15 miles on it. My first impression is that I've
lost top end. You read that right. My bottom end torque feels
STRONGER but upper rpm seems like it doesn't pull like it used
to...... Totally oposite what I was expecting. I still think the
computer needs to be re-educated. We shall see.... Could it also be
because the injectors aren't seated all the way down? These stock
injectors should flow plenty for a 318 with B&F throttle body, MPI/M1
intake, headers and flowmaster dual... right?
The sound is different, sounds awesome. More volume. Sounds more like a big block
to me. Starts up quickly. Idles great.
My ac doesn't blow out of the main vents -- vacuum hose I have
neglected somewhere. Cruise is out as well -- same cause. I hope to
get these hooked up soon.
Temperature guage shows lower than before. I don't know if more flow
through the larger thermostat or the fact that the sensor is now in the
radiator hose is causing this. I was expecting the needle to drop
because of the larger thermostat...
How is the best way to get these fuel rails lowered? I think maybe I
can remove the tb adaptor and do it on a work bench. Is it possible
to do this without removing the adaptor? Adapter I don't mind. The
whole manifold.... that's different.
