The paxton kit on my Ranger came with a check valve to put in the line
so that when in boost you don't pressurize the crankcase.

The crankcase builds up pressure (blowby,etc.) and needs to vent. The Pcv valves are one way and won't let blower pressure into the crankcase. Where are your valve cover breather hoses connected to ?
