Has anyone used the Russell Twist-Lok hose?

I bought some of the hose and the Twist-Lok fittings. Well, I was unable to get the hose to fully seat on to the fitting. I tried for about an hour without success. After the hour of hard work without results, I gave up and sent Russell Performance a letter stating my disatisfaction with their product.

Just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience.
