They are offering it on the R/T version at some dealership (not
all-especially the Flame Red ones). Must be the color and the Viper are not
dealing since they sell within a couple of weeks of reaching the dealership.
My dealer sold 5 Viper GTS within three weeks. I would love to see his
commission....

You can go to www.durangoclub.com to get some info. I've been a member
since April and love it. I do know that I just received a letter in the
mail that the 5.2L & 4.7L Durango's have a $1000 cash back offer and the
5.9L have a $2000 cash back offer. I trashed the letter already since I
already have my D, but that's a pretty good incentive. My D has every
option except the rear A/C, towing package & heavy duty service group...oh
yeah and the R/T interior.

I just picked up this months Truck Trend magazine and it has a wright up on
the Durango R/T. It scores good! They also have the Dakota R/T in there.

I don't know what all the options are, but it sure sounds like a good deal
on a
4x4 Durango. When I was looking at them I couldn't touch a 4x4 for less
than
high 25's... Of course they were brand spanking new when I was looking so
maybe they are dealing a little more reasonably now.

Isn't there a Durango list that you can forward this to? They should be
able
to offer some good info. above and beyond the carpoint/edmunds web stuff.

In any event, if she does the deal, you'll be looking at one happy gf!
Going
from a Ranger to a Durango is gonna' seem like nirvana!!
Good luck.
Tom
