Yeah, I had heard it was supposed to be this easy but the first time I tried
this it began leaking... Second time I let the stuff gel a bit and took it easy
on the bolts --worked for me anyway.

Whenever I change out my rear diff fluid I just pull the cover, scrape all the
old
silicone off, check for metal, apply a new bead of silicone, and then tighten it
down with an impact. Fill it up with fluid and go. Have never had it leak on
me,
have done it this way for years.
