Just my experiences.

I had the '97 on the dyno when it had '96 MP PCM, 3.55 gears and 28" tires.
At 5000 rpm, it showed 135 mph. At the track, with 26" tires instead of
28" tires and 3.92 gears, scanner showed going through the traps at a
tic under 5000 rpm at 115 mph. ... an interesting observation as to
what 'real' world conditions will do to max. speed.
