Not to be a p***k, but your bumper has a rating on it for a reason. You
can either spend a little getting the hitch now, or spend a LOT when the
bumper fails and you have to get a new bumper, pay extra on the trailer
rental, possibly damage your stuff inside the trailer. Scariest of
all...what happens if the bumper lets go *at highway speeds in
traffic?* That alone should be incentive enough to get the hitch.
