Some of the parts department at a local DC dealership will not call it a
magnum motor anymore. When I called the parts department at a local DC
dealer two days ago for a plain chrome V-8 emblem, he asked what vehicle do
I have. I made mentioned it was a Dakota CC 4.7 Magnum. He said, you mean
the hemi 4.7L . At least someone knows at the dealership (parts) what the
difference was. Yahooooooo.

I will have some pictures tonight of the new stickers and the temp on the
side.

The 4.7L utilizes a cylinder head that is very similar to the original "Hemi
head" of the 50's, 60's and 70's. It is the closest thing to a true Hemi
Chrysler has produced since the 1971 426 HEMI. However, the 4.7L cylinder
heads do not have a completely Hemispherical chamber, but it is very close,
and for practical purposes we have been referring to it as a Hemi.
The original Hemi head was a true half sphere, check this link out to see a
"true" hemi head.
