For the rotaries, no other production engine makes even close to as much HP
per Cubic inch. Used to work on them...always respect them.
Mazda/Honda Specialists (where I used to work at waaaaay back when) had a
'91 RX7 13B (Shop race car) with a custom built BDS blower on it. Cutest
damn blower i've ever seen to boot..and the 1.3L made around 350HP without
too much "massaging". (And of course, the friggin' car was faster than
hell!)
