Ryan, I had that same little jump in the rear end when I came off
interchange loops, and ramps. I put 4 doetsch tech shocks on and that cured
the problem, but it also made it ride stiff. Like Steven said, your gonna
have to sacrifice ride quality a little to get the performance out of it! I
didn't notice any change in ride with just the traction bars. Those factory
shocks are not that great.

Stiffer than before but I receive no more wheel hops and minor chirping.

Steve,
Yes the S-10 had leafs in the back. The reason for my question wasn't so
much a concern about the stiffer ride as much as the handling of a large
bump or train tracks. What I mean is that little S-10 had a tendency to
leave the ground, especially on tracks, accentuated even more with the bars
on. It was something I got used to, and I was just curious if the Dak would
behave the same way, or if it heavier weight would help. There was always
one bump on a freeway entrance ramp that would lauch the S-10's rear end if
hit at 35 or faster. And without LSD, the rain and snow made this fun as
I'd have to let off the gas just as I was about to merge. Otherwise, my
right rear tire would spin, and I'd just sit there and fishtail. My wife's
car could hit this at 55 just fine and I notice right now my Dak handles
this bump much like the car. I was just curious how the Dak handled with
the traction bars over bumps. Of course, the S-10's hanldling was pitiful
compared to my Dak anyway. :)
