thanks
there is a small whine fron the front of the truck (seems to come from right
under the shifter)
it does get louder when in overdrive (ie above 30 mph) when the converter
locks up (i assume)
my truck has about 220,000 kms, dotn know how many miles.. prolly about half
that (~110 000 miles)
transfer case action is flawless, no popping out of gear, easy ins to 4wd or
2wd. smooth action, and silent engagement into 4hi..
the transfer case leaks a little (2 or 3 drops a week).. i am oging to top
it up incase it is not full and if it doesnt cure this noise the truck is up
for sale.. i have no patience to deal with this, really (especially if there
is a blown bearing in the tranny or transfercase)..
thanks for description about the fill and drain plugs - i wasnt 100% sure
before, but now i am.

Just
