Calibration for larger tires and for a different gear ratio are two completely
different things. They can only calibrate for so large of a tire because it
changes the emissions and they aren't allowed to do it. But if you change the
gear ratio in addition to a larger tire it makes a difference, then they can put
in the different ratio and figure out which stock tire size will get you close
with the size tire you're running.
