We had a Dodge van come into our dealership with the exact same problem you are
describing. I can't remember exactly what was wrong with it. I'll have to ask
the tech that worked on it the next time I see him. I'm pretty sure the radiator
was clogged up though. Just enough to prevent proper flow of the coolant.
Coolant would come out looking clean, and there would be plenty of it. Finally
ended up just pulling the radiator and sending it to a shop for them to check out
before we came up with the answer.
