Hey Looper,
I don't know where you're located nor about a V6, that's Bernd's territory
but I do know that welding is better than the brackets. If you're down here
in SoCal there's a place I went to in Cerritos called Kenny's Muffler. They
did an excellent job on mine for $60. Mine's a 5.9. I bought a Borla
Catback system. Sounds great! Kenny's welded all the way through from the
cat to the tip.

Subject: DML: Flowmaster ?
OK this maybe a Dumb one but here it goes:
How hard is it to replace your stock muffler with
an after market one? Special tools? welders?
And if you happen to know the correct inlet/outlet
size?
This are the three I'm looking at:
Flowmaster 40 series $70
Flowmaster DELTA FLOW MUFFLERS $80
FlowTECH TERMINATOR "BAD BOY" $55
=====
Flame Red 2000 QC SLT V6 Manual
Right now I'm OEM boy.
Soon to be Aftermarket boy...
