Well, you could add some weight to the back of the bed but that extra
weight would slow you down, so I don't know how much net gain you
would achieve. It sounds like you're just putting too much power to
the ground for street rubber to handle. I know there's a chemical you
can buy to put on the tires that will soften the rubber and make them
hook up better. But why not go with slicks, ET Streets or drag
radials? It sounds like you're at the point where you could really
take advantage of them.
