TRACTION LIMITED

Ok here is my dilemma, I G-Teched the truck today (4.7 CC 5-sp) and spun
like a $$%#$%, well you get the idea. I have pirelli touring gto rear
tires in a 275/60/15 size. I know this truck is capable of great times but
I can't launch this truck. I now have 9200 miles of driving standard (i
learned basically 2 days before my truck came in). I have spring clamps
and lakewood traction bars, At 28psi i had a hop free launch but at 26psi
it was hop city. My best time was a poor 15.55@94.2. This is on a
perfectly flat section of road. So i guess I want to know what my times
should be with this MPH? and also what can I do to improve traction without
adding slicks? Also how are you 5-sp guys launching. That best run was
with me kicking out the rear off the line, spinning (not chirping) into
second, and chirping into third. first shift was at 5700RPM, second at
5800RPM, third shift at 5500RPM. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot guys,
Chris
