You must have a "retarded" computer, hehe. had to say that.
0-4 degrees at idle is quite bad. My 97 dakota v6 auto gets a hefty 14-17
degrees at idle, but I've never drove with the scanner still hooked up to see
the timing curve, but that's an idea.
my TPS read an .62 at idle and rose to over 4 volts at WOT
MAP: 1.1 idle and over 3.07 WOT
fuel consumption at 25%
trans temp 2.97
Inj (injectors?) (ms) 3.5 idle and over 16.7 WOT
I'm saying "over ??? @ WOT" because I just snapped the throttle all the way
and watched for the highest reading, it could probably be higher, but I
didn't have time to properly watch it redline at 5200 RPMs while writing
numbers down.

PS. if you need more data, just e-mail me. Funny thing with those scanners
is, on the one I have access to, it has a "clear all code adaptives" screen.
I used it and the dakota ran like CRAP for 150 miles, then it pulled like it
never did before. I guess it resets those learning blocks our computer
utilizes, so resetting them could give you some performance in the long run.

<< Hey guys,
I recently bought an Auto Xray scanner and have been playing with it on
my Dak. I've found some interesting things about the timing. At idle, the
timing varies between 0 - 4 degrees. >>
