Yes I am comparing apples to apples...green apples (Dakota R/T) to red apples (Durango 5.9L). If you read his post he said that a R/T with a intake and chip ran a 16.3 @ 87 MPH. A R/T has a 5.9L and an additional 5 HP and, as mentioned before, weighs 1000 lbs less. That's why I was asking the conditions of the track. All of the times seem pretty poor to me. If I can run a 16.08 in a Durango with a 5.9, a Dak R/T should be able to run close to a second faster, due to the weight difference. If you go by the rule that for every 100 lbs. of wight you take off is good for 0.1 seconds.

Yeah, but try putting a v6 in your Durango and see
what it will run... Im guessing 17's or 18's??? Your
v8 has the torque and HP to push the extra weight of
the Durango down the track (at a damn good time, I
might add). I don't think your comparing apples to
apples. Great time on the 6'er by the way..
