Hey Brett, thanks for the info. I was cruising Gene's site yesterday, and
remembered your guard looking pretty good. Mine was the brushed aluminum
finish before.... I spent a whole day prepping it with some over-priced
DuPont isopropyl alcohol, spraying it with zinc-oxide primer, and then put
on several coats of satin black paint.
It's held up pretty good, and still looks alright. I can't see sticking it
in my apartment to cook in the oven, though.
Kyle Kozubal had his sprayed (if I remember right), but I'm too cheap for
that! I may check into Wally World for that roll on stuff and try that out.
