Sounds like maybe the perfect opportunity to replace it with a 727 or
904? You can probably get one of the autos with a reverse pattern, manual
valve body, and the full competition prep for less than a used
NV3500? Depends on your personal driving style though I guess. (Course,
the overdrive on the stick is nice...)
