Whenever I see someone mention this I just have to say:
Class III is only rated to 5,000 lbs...our Daks weight just about
that, my standard cab is just over 5,300 with Carolyn and myself
inside of it.
You get stuck in any kind of mud and two things are going to
happen:
1) Darn how am I going to get this 110+ lb item inserted into
that receive hitch that is under 3 inches of extremely unpleasant
mud
2) Ok I made it past number one...now why is my receiver mount
twisting and pulling funny ( do not forget that means your frame
is twisting and pulling funny also ) when my 8,000+ lb winch
starts lugging down due to all the suction from this darn mud
hole on my 5,000+ lb truck.
