I started using Mobil 1 10W30 about 2500 miles ago,and I hear a faint
thumpthumpthump at idle when fully warmed up.Don`t know what it is.Might
use some regular oil at the next change just for bowel movements and
chuckles.Even if the regular oil gets rid of the noise,I`ll stay with
synthetic for the protection against viscosophy and thermonuclear
meltdown. Steve P.
