Hello everyone.
I recently purchased a '95 Dakota Sport. I was driving my Toyota truck
to work one day and a lady pulled out in front of me and I nailed her.
Unfortunatly I totaled her can AND my truck. Fortunatly the insurance
company gave me $1900 for the truck that I only paid $750 for! I was
able to find a great deal on my Daktoa. I put $1500 down and the
dealership was only asking $4000 for it. Here is a bit about the truck.
'95 Dakota Sport. 2.5 4cylinder, RWD 2X4. It has a aftermarket CD
player, a matching tonau cover, and some nice aloy wheels. The body it
self is in excelent condition and it looks great. The interior is also
in very good shape, if not a little greasy from the armorall that the
dealership stuck on there. And it has Air conditioning! That is a major
plus.
A bit about me. My name is Shawn Sullivan. I'm 19 and I live in Denver
CO. I have had a '87 Daytona for about 2 years and I'm just now getting
it to run really nice and work to its fullest. The thing that intrigued
me about this truck is that it has a similar engine. My Daytona is a 2.2
turbo and the truck is a 2.5. They look the same (except the engine is
sideways in the truck). So I know this particular engine well. But I
want to add some more power to it. I bought a K&N flat panel to get some
better air flow. But I think after a while, I'd like to turbocharge it.
I don't want to go over kill (40psi) but I'd like to give it some more
umph!
Anyhow, thats a bit about me. I look forward to learning more about
these cool trucks and how they operate!
