Flipping through the August Four Wheeler, I notice
that there are a couple of vehicles which mention
having a 3.9L four-cylinder Cummins turbodiesel.
Apparently it's a four-cylinder version of the famous
six-cylinder 5.9L Cummins in the 3/4 ton Rams.
I saw that the 3.9L was mounted in a new prototype
Scorpion and in a '60 CJ-5. I'm thinking, if it'll
fit in a CJ-5, it should fit in a Dakota. (insert
maniacal grin here)
Anyone know anything more about this engine?
