Jeff, even without the exhaust note you can go to an open air filter that
will sound like the old HEMIsssssssss.

Subject: DML: How do I get that R/T sound?
So I was at the dealership the other day picking up some parts when I saw a
pretty nice Dodge Red RT in the lot. I meant to check it out when I left
but it was gone. Then I heard it firing up in one of the service bays.
Mmmmmm....
What can I do to get my 2000 4.7 4x4 to growl like that? Some of that must
be due to the larger engine, but what kind of exhaust can I upgrade to to
come close? I think I've seen a recent thread on this, but I may have
missed the responses.
Thanks in advance,
jeff
