Re: Diesel stuff

Well, from your earlier reply I realize now that you were talking about
a completely different engine than I thought you were. So that sheds a
whole new light on the subject. I was just referring to the fact that a
5.9 cummins will pull a hell of alot of weight the way it is now. I
know hotshot drivers that are pulling 30,000-40,000 pounds with 3/4 ton
trucks........ which is stupid I know, but still impressive. There is a
guy that used to bring his truck in for us to work on and he had taken
it to a place, can't remember the name of it. But, the guy does
computer and tuning upgrades for the diesel. He has three stages. This
guy was at stage two with his engine. It would whitesmoke the tires
with a load on it. Run up steep hills accelerating all the time pulling
2 dozers on a gooseneck trailer. I forgot just what was done to his
exactly. I think the computer was flashed, pump turned up, turbo
adjusted, and it may have had a custom intake. And it was doing all
that.
