ATDC and leave it there and install all the pushrods and rockers. Why
couldn't they just write what you wrote? They already have 2100 pages in

Actually, after looking further in the book, under Valve Spring and Stem
Seal Replacement and Cylinder Head Removal and Installation, there are some
warnings and directions similar to yours. We're assuming people are going
to read further than they have to when doing this.
