Any of the MSD Ignitions can be mounted really anywhere, especially within
the engine bay(under the hood). For all practicality and what people 99% of
the time do, is just mount it under the hood.
What adapter harness are you talking about? I am using MSD Universal Wiring
Harness, which is PN#8873. Hope this helps........
