You know, along with all the tech answers you'll get, there's a really
inexpensive way to save $$ on gas. When I was babying the truck for the
first few hundred miles and I was shifting at 1500 RPM like the idiot arrow
tells you, I got over 17 mpg in the city. Now that I'm driving like normal
(accelerating harder and shifting @ 2500/3000 RPM), I'm getting about 14.5
mpg city. Your foot can make a big difference, and it's a cheap mod... if
you can stand it, that is... ha ha ha!
