Hello List,
Just got my truck back from Gibson this morning. They used it as their
Dakota V6 4X2 test vehicle. They had it for two days putting together a
custom exhaust that would put out the best performance for that engine.
They
came up with a 2.5" Proto Type Single Exhaust System.
I thought I would share with all the V6 owners the dyno results of adding
this particular Gibson exhaust to their V6 Dakotas. Now, I am not into the
total technical wording of the this test, but the guy told me that even
they
were surprised by the end numbers. Roughly, the exhaust add about 8.6
Power
and 10.4 Torque. If anyone would like see the paper let me know I will
send
them a copy.
