I had 3.23's in my Camaro (Moroso Brute Strength 10-bolt) and she hit 162mph
(max) at 6800rpm (285/50-15 Comp T/A's). That was max and holding 150 for
more than an hour wasn't a problem. (Hot August Nights - Reno, NV to San
Jose, CA in just about 2 hours.) I had a buddy at that time who had a '69
Charger (with 440) and he could keep up with me up to about a 140mph...after
that, bye bye. Plus, the suspension on the Camaro could handle it - Vette
Products Mono-Leaf Suspension.
But that's all in the past and yeah, I do miss the car, but the Dak is more
fun now. ;)
