Amp install, pt. 2

Thanks for the responses that I got on installing my amp. I decided to put it
under the driver's seat after all. Makes the RCA cable run easier and routes
it as far from the power lines as reasonably possible.

The MTX Thunderform was much more trouble to install that I had imagined. The
seat belt shoulder mounting posts need to be removed to take off the back
panels. They require a 50-Torx bit, something my local hardware store and
several auto parts places did not have. After getting the box in the cab, I was
only able to line up 3 of the 5 bolts to the floor. Oh, well. It seems to be
in there solid. I may sink two sheet metal screws through the last two holes to
really secure it.

Unfortunately, I now have a very annoying whistle from the driver's side when
the A/C is on and the truck is over 30 mph. I checked the weather-stripping and
it seems to be OK. My guess is that the holes from where I couldn't get the
last two bolts in may be causing this. I plan to squirt a bit of caulk in them
tonight and see.
