I'd like to be at least one of the few to do a 440 Dak. but I'm sure
finances will prohibit that for me. I would check the side clearances on a
small block truck and figure about 3-4.5 extra inches for a BB.
as for a 340.. that'd be easy.. just like doing a 318 or 360 in it.
