You can run the 3923s anyway. I would never trust a plug gap out of the
box - ALWAYS check it. Bob Tom suggested gaps ranging from .035 to .045
depending on where and how you're driving (track or stret, power or
emissions) and your ignition setup (MSD vs. stock). There's no way that
the manufacturer knows what your gap should be set at.
My 3923s ranged quite a bit in gap out of the box.
