When I ditched my '95 WHIMPY horns, I selected the Blaster trumpet horns
from Pep Boys. I removed the stock horn and left the mounting bracket and
mounted the compressor to the bracket. I then removed the battery and
drilled whatever holes I needed and mounted the trumpet horns under the
battery tray. When doing this under the tray--remember to drill at a rib
brace that is lower than the flat part of the tray so the bolt heads don't
rub a hole in the underside of the battery. I used carrage bolts and locking
nuts(the type of nut with plastic in it to keep it from backing off ) Had
the horns on for 3 years now and no worries. I DID USE THE STOCK HORN RELAY
AND NO PROBLEMS.
