2000 Dak SLT+ CC with Gibson catback and 3.92 gears 255-65-15 balloons....

At 8,000 miles the lifetime average of my Dak is 13.9mpg.

Most of my driving is highway.

Included in this total is a little less than 2 miles of drag racing.

A mile or two of wheel spin.

A little over 100 miles of Autocrossing.

About two hundred miles of heavy towing.

Observations.

I get really bad mileage autocrossing....

I get really good mileage towing!

Do you think any of this relates to throttle position???
