Lightnings generally turn 14.0-14.2 stock with a few dipping to 13.8 and
12.9 with good weather and launches. Slap a blower on a 2k R/T and you will
likely have a 13 second truck unless ya screwed somethin' up. I am talking
about the $2500 Powerdyne SC too, and there's a 10 difference between a
Lightning and R/T (at least), so that leaves you with $7500 extra, which
should be more than enough to put you deep into the 12s......With
Lightnings, due to their size and aerodynamics, once you hit 13.0 you'll
have to put a lot into mods to move lower. Personally I am planning to
install a NOS kit people have used and see 12s with with only minor bolt ons
(like I have), and I can't see anything but a very, VERY heavily modified
Lightning even being a match........I'll be more scared Of N20ed Gen 1 Ls
than Gen 2s.....
