Well, after some serious bit--ing with UPS, my package actually arrived at
4:45pm today!!!
Guess what....the supercharger is already installed with the exception of
the fuel pump (thanks for the help Ted). I need to get some fittings for
the fuel line but otherwise, I took her out for a spin already (I know...I
shouldn't have...but ya just gotta try it) and WOW!! She's a totally
different truck now. From what information I got from a good buddy on the
DML, the fuel pump is all that's left for some serious butt-kickin'.
Minor snags: I had totally forgotten about the 2" body lift so some fender
cutting was required. The computer is still in the stock position though
and is nice and cool. The air intake system also had to be refabricated and
that tiny-a$$ filter they give you went right in the trash. My K&N 6"x9"
cone is installed. I also forgot that the underdrive pulley is installed so
a 9# pulley is going to be ordered right away...Nick and Sam at Powerdyne
brought this to my attention when I noticed that the boost wasn't up to par
with their specs. (No biggie)
I'll have a slew of pictures for you all in the next day.
