Sounds normal. Small spots of rust form on the front rotors and I
presume the rear drums as well when the truck's been idle for a while,
especially in damp weather. You're just feeling and hearing the spots
scrape off.

Worth checking the brake system and pads as well - can't hurt, if you
can do it for cheap.
