I had misfire's and worse under load w/my 318 when I tried the Bosch +4's...
Once replaced with "regular" plugs the problem went away.

I recently replaced plugs and wires (Taylor wires with Bosch Platinumn +4
plugs) and Dist. cap and rotor. Got an appointment with the dealer on
Tuesday.......I'll let them figure it out.

Hey Kevin, did you say that your truck idles O.K. but misses under load?
It seems to me that a clogged converter could cause that, especially if
it never goes away.If it`s intermittent, maybe you need to look where I
need to look.I`m down to plug wires or a bad connection on my
truck.Seems to be vibration-sensitive.If you have a 318,then I can tell
you from my own experience that it can still idle well even if one
cylinder is near dead.I had a 74 Duster with a 318 that had one cylinder
with 10 psi compression, and I thought it ran great.A bad plug/wire on my
truck (V6) would be a lot more noticeable than on a V8.Does your
converter smell bad? I haven`t noticed a bad smell from my truck since
they replaced the TPS,but I figure the damage has already been done.Let
us know what you find out. Steve P.
