Keep in mind that the V8 throttle body flows somewhere around
500-600cfm, so the V6 TB would be even less; somewhere around 500cfm I'd
guess. So, getting a 1000cfm filter will just be overkill; your filter
only needs to flow as much as your throttle body. (Maybe a little more to
make up for losses inside the tube.) So if you're debating between the
extra cost between a 600cfm and a 1000cfm, (for example) go for the 600 if
cost is an issue; your engine won't know the difference.
