I know I'm a little behind in the e-mail, but that's what happens when you
take 4 days off.
On friday I brought the DAKSY into Scotia Motors (Scotia, NY) with 16676
liles on 'er & thay replaced the rotors & rotated the tires, UNDER WARRANTY.
It started to shimmy at hard brake at about 12K, mostly on downhills, but it
didn't happen all the time. Lately it was happening more often, so when I
had 'er in for a problem with the driver doorlock, I mentioned it to the SM.
He said to get 'er in before 18K, so I did. The SM said the rotors were
pitted but not warped. I never threw an indicator on 'em, so I guess I'll
have to take his word...
She seems fine now, but we'll see what happens. I did contact DC, tho', & am
awaiting a reply
