Why cant you just drop a late model 360/5.9 in it? You know, like a 93-96.
Do the heads, add mopar headers, with little tweaks to the intake and T.B
you could easily get about 300/320 out of it. Cam it, then super charge it.
You can get a pretty good starter motor for about 500 from the bone yard, by
the time youre done you could have a nice one charged for about 4 grand.
Not bad I think.
