all auto trannies have a valve body. Instead of the valve body making the
shift for you, you actually have to shift yourself. It is recommended to
have an aftermarket shifter also
I currently am running a 904 tranny with a manual valve body. No way no how
will my truck shift without me pulling back on the lever, and I don't have
to worry about missing a gear either
