The Amsoil works fine. Anything numerically above GL3 theoretically will
exceed the older standard, though there seems to be some tremendous
misunderstanding about the value of the added detergents. I personally used
a 50/50 mix of Pennzoil and some stuff I found in AZ called MOREY'S**. Of
course that was on my last truck which was a 95
