If you would like a picture or two of the truck with the rims on it I can email
them to you. I am the owner of the truck. As for the people who don't think that
this is the way to go (i'm not getting upset) I went this way because I wanted
17" wheels for my truck and all of the styles that I saw were really ugly to me
or the ones I liked were way to expensive. I bought my wheels used for $500 then
got the spacers made from 1/4" plat steel and zinc coated and had some help there
to keep the costs down and finally ordered a set of bulge et lugs (look like the
ones from the factory with a shank then extends from the tip tp go into the hole
on the wheel to make up for the lost threads from the spacer. mine were exactly
1/4") for liek $30. After that it was just the tires that cost alot but they were
my choice. I'm not saying that there are not some nice wheels out there but this
was also a challange to make them fit. I started out with a set of 15x7 gen III
wheels but they rub the a-arm and will be warped during normal driving. Next
tried the 15x8's and couldn't figure out how the solve the center cap sticking
through the middle where there is supposed to be a flush cap (checking out the
website later to see how the person who has them did it. do have a set for drag
tires if I ever get around to going to the strip). That is part of the reason I
settled on the r/t wheels besides the desire for 17" wheels and I really like the
look. Got more than one curious and nasty look from some local r/t owners.
