This is the second time I've written this..the 1st time it was kicked out
because help was the first word in the subject arghh.!
Yesterday i went to my parents house..I was leaving a while later, and my
mom noticed a ticking sound? I thought it would go away as soon as it warmed
up so I didn't think to much of it. Well, it didnn't go away. The truck is
running like crap and the ticking seems to have gotten a little worse. It's
not a steady beat, but it is constantly there. I looked under the hood and
it seems the sound is coming from under the intake, maybe down in the block?
maybe a little to the right if your standing in front of the truck looking
at it. The chedx engine light came on so I ran the code checker on the
odometer. It said chec and played with the gauges but no codes ever came up?
This is starting to et aggravating..seem at least once a month something
on this truck breaks..only 40,000 miles...
If you guys have any idea what this might be, please help me out..would be
greatly appreciated.
