Matt,
Is it a spark knock? Check to make sure all your plug wires are securly in place on both
sides of the wire. It sounds as though you have an arc. Also check the coil wire to make sure it
is securely seated.

I did run 87 gas..but this is definatly not pinging...must have been 3 parts
water 1 part gas if thats the problem
