The 105 is your speed limiter. You can get rid of that by getting the HP
PCM. The brake light and ABS light indicate you have a possible serious
brake problem. Take it to the dealer to check out, NOT MIDAS. The reason
I'm so adamant about that is because Midas almost killed my son's girlfriend
"fixing" her brakes. It's probably the ABS system. I've seen symptoms
similar to that before but not on a Dak.

Subject: DML: MSD - got it going

I ran out of patience waiting for the Taylor plug wires to be delivered
from Truck Performance so I went to the local Auto-Zone and bought some
Bosch ones. I hooked up the MSD and it made the truck run tons better. I
was out "cruising" at high speeds (about 105mph, can't get past that
since I got the 3.9 gears, don't know why). When I was slowing down the
damn e-brake and abs light came on and now it won't come off. I've reset
the computer and everything. The brakes need to be pushed in a shit load
more for me to slow down. This has happened before and I took the truck
to Midas and had a guy look at it. He drove it and couldn't find
anything wrong and then I drove it and it was back to normal. What
gives? Anyone know what's wrong? The pads and rotors do need to be
replaced, but I don't think that's the reason.

About the rev-limiter on the MSD. I put in the 4800 rpm chip to see if
it the rev limiter actually works on it. The truck pulled right on past
it and hit the stock limiter. I wonder if I need to hook something up to
the tach. The reason I spent the extra money is to have that limiter,
otherwise I'd have bought one without. The instructions say nothing, as
usual.
